“Leanne and I are very proud to announce that our daughter, Kaia Brielle Donovan, was born this afternoon at 2:03 PM. She is beautiful, and we love her already, though we’ve hardly had the chance to get to know her yet.”

Kaia Donovan was born on July 29, 2011. Shortly after birth, she was moved to the NICU, because her breathing was erratic. Kaia’s daddy, Ryan, wrote 13 letters to friends and family over the 20 days of Kaia’s life, asking them to pray for his little girl, who was struggling to live. During Kaia’s life, many people prayed for her, and the letters were also passed around by many people. Kaia’s life had a significant impact on those who followed her story as it unfolded. These prayer updates have been made available, in hopes that Kaia’s story would continue to point others to Jesus and encourage them to trust Him in the midst of difficult circumstances.
